             Power of Positive Affirmations
Positive affirmations are positive statements you
make about you or your life. These affirmations can
help change your negative self-talk. Here are a few
tips for using positive affirmations in your life.

1. Positive affirmations need to be said out loud
repeatedly.


2. State the affirmations using “I am” statements.
Your brain understands what is happening in the
present better than the future.


3. Positive affirmations should be like the name
states. You shouldn’t use negatives words or phrases
in your affirmations. A better phrase to use is “I am
healthy now” instead of “I am not sick anymore.”  


4. Affirmations should be short and simple. They
should be specific.


5. Spend 10 minutes a day repeating your
affirmations
