Get Ready for the New School Year!!!
Summer is gone and it is time for school to start
back again. Here are a few tips to make the start of
the school year less stressful.

1. Get back to a routine. A week or two before
school starts have set times to go to bed and wake
up. This will help kids get adjusted to the school
schedule to make the first few days of school easier.

2. Set up a study area. Kids need a quiet, distraction –
free area to do homework. A homework schedule
could be useful to ensure homework is completed.
Set a time for homework to be finished before they
can watch TV or play video games.

3. Buy school supplies ahead of time. Have school
supplies labeled and packed before the first day of
school. This will help ease stress and worry over
forgetting needed items.
