Healthy Lifestyle and Mental Health

A healthy lifestyle can improve your mental health.
Here are a few healthy lifestyle tips.

1. Follow a healthy diet. A healthy diet can improve
symptoms. A diet high in sugar has been shown to
make symptoms worse.


2. Get active. Physical activity for 20 minutes a day
can reduce depression and anxiety. It also can
improve your self-esteem and your mood.


3. Practice mindfulness. Mindfulness is being present
in the moment and being aware of what is going on
around you. It can also help relieve stress.


4. Get a good night’s sleep. Anxiety can make it
difficult to fall asleep. Lack of sleep can make you
more anxious the following day. This can make it
harder to fall asleep the next night.
